Posy was inspired by a summer flower garden; it is designed as a small shoulder warmer perfect for cool summer nights.
Sizes Posy measures approx. 50 inches along the top edge x 14 inches from the centre of the top edge to the bottom point. (15 rows wide, alternate rows of 15 & 16 long).
Yarn 250 gms of 4 ply/fingering yarn (360/400 metres per 100 gms) The original sample is made with 8 different colours of 4 ply/fingering alpaca yarn; however you can make it with any 4 ply yarn you wish.
Posy is a scrap shawl and best made with oddments from your stash in as many different colours as possible. However if you would like to buy yarn especially for Posy, I recommend the following yarns Drops – Alpaca, Alpaca/Silk John Arbon Textiles – Alpaca Delight, Alpaca Supreme Knit picks – Alpaca Cloud Fingering
