Poppies Socks

These socks were inspired by the vast fields of poppies in Eastern Europe. IThey are an homage to my childhood playgrounds.

They feature short row heels for a snug fit and anatomically shaped toes. (Of course you can work a simple wedge toe.)

Foot length: 23.5 / 9.25″, adjustable

Leg length: 14 cm / 5.5″

Recommended ease: 1- 2 cm / 0.4-0.8 ″.

Scrap yarn approx. 3-4 m/ 3.25-4.5 yds for duplicating sts.

GAUGE

35 sts x 39 rnds = 10 cm / 4′′ in colorwork on 2.25 mm / US 1 needles.
