Pompadour

The Pompadour Mitts are knitted using two colors.

You begin with a ribbed cuff in the contrast color (CC) at the wrist, then continue the work in the main color (MC) to shape the hand.

Mostly worked in stockinette stitch, they feature an elegant textured panel mirrored on the back of each mitt.

Lateral increases are used to shape the thumb.

The mitts are finished with another ribbed edging in the contrast color (CC) for a harmonious look.

Sizes : 14, 16 (18.5, 20) 22 cm / 5.5, 6 (7, 7.5) 8.5 ” in final circumferences. To choose your size, measure around the palm of your hand.

Yarn : These mittens are knitted with a fingering weight yarn (sock yack from Madelaine et Filibert). Approx :

MC (Londres) : 100, 115 (130, 140) 155 m / 110, 125 (142, 155) 170 yds.

CC (Terre inconnue) : 40, 45 (52, 56) 65 m/ 45, 50 (58, 61) 72 yds

Needles : 3.25 mm (US 3) hand; 2.75 mm (US 2) ribbing
