You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained. This pattern is written in standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process.
In the pattern, I have worked all stripes with mustard yellow and brown (white cardi the pictures), but if you prefer to work each the stripes with different colors (beige cardi), you only need 50g ball of each color (here 3 different colors). The stripes can be worked also with leftover yarn. The length is adjustable.
In the pattern I worked the stripes with same color. If you prefer to work the stripes with 3 different colors, you only need 50g ball of each color. Main Color 1> 1000(1200,1400) m / 1100(1310,1540) yds, Color 2> 160(200,250) m / 175(220,275) yds Color 3> 80(100,130) m /90(110,142) yds.
