Pipit

A comfortable shirt that can be knit in linen or any light dk or sport weight yarn that works at the noted gauge. Suitable for a knitter with some experience. The yoke is worked sideways from the center back to the ends of the sleeves, and the body stitches are picked up directly from the yoke, and worked top down, so you can easily adjust the length or fit (e.g. add waist shaping) if you like. The pattern includes detailed instructions and diagrams that guide you through the construction. There is little seaming required, or none at all if you choose to knit the sleeves in the round. You will need to know how to do a provisional cast-on, as well as short rows. The pattern provides detailed instructions for working the short rows.
