Our Elephant toy looks lovely sitting on a sofa and doubles up as a squishy cushion.
Suitable for knitters with just a little experience (increasing and decreasing are used to shape) Pink Elephant is knitted flat on 4mm chunky knitting needles and is 28cm tall, 37cm long when completed.
To make your elephant you will need:
A pair of long 4mm straight knitting needles
Chunky Yarn in the colour of your choice. We use Paintbox Simply Chunky in Bubblegum Pink (colour 350) x two balls. (As an alternative, StyleCraft Special Chunky in 1241 Fondant is a nearly identical pink)
Contrasting chunky yarn for the stripe- any colour you like. We use half a ball of StyleCraft Special Chunky in 1420 Camel.
