Produktdetails
A simple relaxing garter stitch shawl, worked from the top down with a pretty eyelet pattern panel down the back. The edge is worked sideways and attached to the shawl as you go. The edge requires a little bit more concentration, but is not difficult.
The lace parts are provided both as charts, and written directions.
Measurements
Shawlette 47x23.5"/120×60 cm
Big shawl 61x27.5"/155×70 cm
Gauge
Gauge is not very important, but will obviously affect finished size and yarn consumption. 18 sts/40 rows = 4×4"/10x10 cm in garter st, after blocking. 1 repeat lace edge (29 sts/30 rows)≈6×3¾"/15x9.5 cm after blocking.
Silk stretches a bit, and is very drapey. If you are working with another fiber, like wool, you may have to go up in needle size to obtain an airy fabric.
