Note: 10/23/2017 This pattern has been updated to replace the garter ties with I-cord ties finished by leaves. The depth has been adjusted for one of the sizes.
The Petites Feuilles bonnet is an irresistible and practical baby bonnet that works up in no time and is completely seamless. It features a lovely and easy leaf motif. The front of the bonnet is knit flat, the crown is knit in the round. Stitches are picked up to make I-cord ties, which are finished by leaves. The pattern is both fully written and charted, to accommodate personal preference.
Skills Required: cast-on, knitting, purling, knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing, yarn over, picking up stitches, I-cord.
Gauge: 20 sts x 48 rows (24 ridges) = 4 inches or 10 cm in garter stitch.
