Pennsylvania Road Trip

We're taking a wonderful road trip around the state of Pennsylvania in the United States, celebrating knitting and local yarn shops and American history and natural wonders and PA landmarks as we go. We hope you'll join us on this grand adventure. This pattern is sized for misses (up to a 50" bust) or plus (over a 50" bust). The pattern is oversized for both sizes. There are 8 "legs" of the journey. At each leg, you will choose between Cynthia's design or Valerie's design, for a "choose your own adventure" shawl! The pattern has line-by-line instructions for most clues, plus explanations of the sights that were the inspiration. You'll need 4 skeins of fingering-weight yarn that are at least 400 yards (you'll need 5 for the plus size). One should be a variegated. Two should be medium in tone, but contrast with each other, and the fourth should be lighter or darker than the rest.
