Peerie Ting booties

I designed these booties for a “peerie ting” (young child) after my daughter’s friend had a baby and she asked me to knit something. They are fun and quick to knit, warm and cosy to wear and a treasure to keep once baby has outgrown them.

The pattern is one size baby (0-3 months) but the actual size can be changed quite dramatically using larger or smaller needle sizes. For an even smaller pair suitable for a small newborn or premature baby I would suggest using jumper weight 2 ply Shetland wool and 3mm needles.

I used Uradale organic, unbleached Shetland wool as it is soft and warm.
