Pebble the Horse pattern started as more than just an idea it was my way of capturing the strength and beauty of horses in stitches. Horses are beautiful not only on the outside, but on the inside too.
My grandad had a horse called Whirlwind. I remember watching him care for his horse with such patience and love. He could spend hours by his side, and now that I'm older, I understand why. I can't have a real horse of my own, but with a hook and yarn, I've created one in my own way. I only wish my grandad were here so I could show him my version of the horse.
