The turquoise and gold colors of oriental buildings, especially in Samarkand (Uzbekistan), inspired me to design “Pearl of Orient”.
This shawl is knitted flat in one piece (not in rounds) and has a small crochet edge at both ends.
Skill level: advanced; for experienced knitters
Size: one size - 169 cm length x 69 cm width
Yarn: 575 grams of Jamieson´s of Shetland Spindrift (105 m/ 25 g) - 10 different colors (for detailed color combination please see the pattern)
The pattern includes nice photos, a knitting technique tutorial (for continental style), detailed knitting instructions and clear colored charts.
