Design

The hat is knitted flat on straight needles and has a cute reindeer peeping out from the snow motif. The motif is knitted following a chart and using the intarsia method. The red nose is knitted up and sewn on separately. You will need to sew the back seam and add a pompom to the top.

Yarn

The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).

The picture shows the outfit knitted using Stylecraft Special DK in shades White (1001), Red (Lipstick 1246), Camel (1420), Black (1002) and Dark Brown (1004).
