A warm, chunky, owl poncho to wrap up in for that walk by the sea. Moss stitch (USA seed stitch) edges, garter stitch body and owls all combine for a cosy and fashionable knit.
The pattern is intermediate, as you will need to know how to cast/bind on and off, knit and purl stitches and very simple cabling. Chunky/bulky yarn makes for a fashionable, fast knit. Yarn recommendations are given, but most chunky/bulky yarns should be fine. The English pattern has British/American terms. The French pattern follows the English one - each pattern is numbered separately. There are photos to help with sewing it up and a schematic. Lepatron francais suit l'anglais.
There are 4 sizes - 4-6yrs, 7-10yrs, teen/adult and large adult.
A great spring or autumn cover-up, or even just right for a cooler summer's eve. Just right for that barbecue, festival or walk by the sea!
