Ombre Crochet Basket

American crochet terms.  A lovely basket to decorate your home - fill it with shells or dried flowers or use it as an attractive storage container. The ombre color change makes it special. The pattern calls for easily available cotton yarn so you can try different color combinations. The basket in the photo is about 7 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall but the basket can be made in any size.  The pattern is not difficult and is appropriate for anyone with basic crochet skills. It works up quickly.
