Skills needed: Pick up and knit (and purl for a brief distance), short rows for the shoulders. A video tutorial for the technique used here may be viewed at sundayknits.com/techniques.
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch.
Yarn: Substitute any sport weight yarn that works nicely to gauge; yarn used has 225 m per 50-gm skein. ("Nirvana 3 ply" is so named because of the triple-plied construction of the yarn. The word "ply" as used here does not refer to its plumpness or gauge.)
Pattern includes: Written instructions, schematic, glossary.
