Gauge for Special Stylecraft DK yarn: 10 cm x 10 cm (4" x 4") = 28 sts x 32 rows in stockinette stitch using needles size 4 (3.5mm).
Materials needed • 8 double-pointed needles and circular needles in a size suitable for the yarn weight you are using. I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric. Needles № size 2.5 (3.0mm)), size 4 (3.5mm). • Surf green yarn Special Stylecraft DK color Aspen (1422) (100% acrylic 295 meters / 100 grams) • Toy stuffing • Beads for eyes • Multi-colored beads for decorating • Button diameter of 10-12 mm for fastening the octopus to the beret • Yarn needle • Stitch holder
