Octopus Amigurumi: no sew

The finished octopus is about 3.5 inches tall, 7.5 with tentacles stretched full length.

Abbreviations: 

• mc – magic circle 
• sc- single crochet 
• inc- increase /2 single crochet in the same stitch 
• dec – decrease /crochet 2 stitches together. 
• sl- slip stitch 
• hdc- half double crochet 
• dc- double crochet 
• bl – back loop 
• X# - repeat the stitch that many times 
• fo: finish off

TIPS: *To start I prefer the Magic Circle but you can also ch2 and work the first stitches into the 2nd chain from your hook. Do which ever technique works best for you. *

For decreases I like to use a technique called the invisible decrease. Slip your hook through the front loops of the next 2 stitches, yarn over, pull through the 2 front loops, yarn over and pull through remaining loops. 

*This pattern is worked in continuous rounds. *

Everything is made in one piece. No sewing!
