Ocean Breeze

Ocean Breeze is a wonderful, crescent shaped shawl that has been designed to be knit in two different yarns of the same colour giving an undulating shawl that is just perfect for a summer cover up for too hot sunshine, cooler evenings, air conditioned restaurants and, of course, the ocean breeze. I have used Lichtfaden Pure Silk Fingering and Lichtfaden Silk Halo (you will need one skein of each) to create a shawl with wonderful contrast in texture. A different effect can be achieved by using different those yarns in two different colours. Beaded (about 800 beads in total) and textural, this shawl is a fun knit and a lovely thing accessory for your holiday, weekends or to wear to the office. You will require one skein of your smooth yarn and one skein of your 'hairy' yarn.
