About The Design:
These Nordic-style teddy sweaters and matching stocking caps are an adorable addition to my collection of teddy bear clothing – Sweatshirt Jacket, Aran Sweater with Matching Hat, and Dress with Shawl.
Sampled in widely available and loved heavy worsted (aran) weight yarns: Cascade Yarns Ecological Wool, Eco+, Plymouth Yarn Homestead, and Drops Nepal. These yarns knit easily at a worsted weight gauge, to create cohesive, long-lasting fabrics.
These little sweaters and caps make great traveling projects or evening knitting – the set can be made over the course of a few evenings. Your teddy bears, or the bears of loved ones, can be well-dressed this winter!
Sizes: S / M, to fit a 10-11” / 14-15” tall teddy bear, having a 9-10” / 13-15” belly or chest measurement.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st, using size 7 ndls, and either yarn, or size to achieve gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.
