This was inspired by several pictures of other granny square motifs, and my yarn stash. This colour combination reminded me of neapolitan ice cream. I wanted to create a poncho that would provide some warmth and weight but still have an airy, fun feeling. I used Lincraft Cotton 8 ply yarn, but any DK / 8ply cotton or cotton blend yarn would work well. The pattern uses UK terms throughout.
