Mulberry Hat

Summer is mulberry season in our neck of the woods! This hat incorporates cables that are reminiscent of mulberries and lots of ribbing for a stretchy, accommodating beanie. Can’t get enough of these cables? Check out my coordinating socks!

The combination of ribbing & cables in this pattern requires a lot of yardage & calls for larger needles than usual with DK yarn for a softer feel with more drape. This pattern was test knit in all sizes, and includes notes on making a bun/ponytail hat or cowl to match!

2”/5cmnegative ease in circ. is recommended for a comfortable fit

Beanie height: 7 [7.5, 8.25, 8.25, 8.25]”/18 [19, 21, 21, 21] cm;

Deeper/slouchy hat option adds 1.3”/3.5 cm height
