This headband is so comfortable, you will forget you have it on - except for the compliments you will receive! A hidden ponytail holder is sewn in so that the headband stays on, and stays comfy, without squeezing your head or stretching out the yarn. It’s just a few stitches, but makes such a difference.
The headband is designed with slipped stitches that create a nice finished edge and has step-by-step instructions and pictures, which makes is a great project for someone who is new to cables. Even if you have never worked a cable before, you will be able to knit this headband!
No gauge is stated because this headband can be worked with any yarn. Yep, any yarn at all. The thicker the yarn, the wider the headband, but the pattern works with thinner yarns, too. (The pictured purple headband was made with Knit Picks “Biggo” and is 2.75” wide.) Instructions included for making adult and kid sizes.
