A large and roomy hood with attached cowl will fit any adult. Simply enough, the horizontal cable pattern on the cowl reminded me of the morning glories crawling and winding up the fence everywhere in my yard (they’re ladders for faeries, you see). The cowl can be knitted all by itself (there's even a separate, cheaper pattern for you if that's all you wanna do), but with the addition of a hood, you can enjoy this as a “hat” of sorts too – one really warm garment for both neck and head that won’t bunch in your coat or give you hat hair!
Also, you can simply knit the cowl too (and there's even a separate pattern if that's ALL you want)
Intermediate knitting requires cable knitting skills, provisional cast-on, Kitchener stitch and/or seaming.
