Shadow knitting (or illusion knitting) seems mysterious and alluring, much like the moon. So, what better subject to honor in a shadow knit wrap, than the moon and her phases. Similar to lenticular prints from the art world, each moon motif becomes visible, then fades away as the wrap is viewed at different angles.
