This women’s sweater is worked from the bottom up, in the round up to the armholes, then back and forth for the front and back tops. Once the shoulders are joined, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, knitted in the round and from armholes to the cuffs.

The sizes of this sweater are determined by your hip measurement. Measure your hips at the top of your hips, not at the widest part of your bottom, but just above it. This is where the sweater will sit. The sweater is designed to be fitted at the hips and loose at the chest. Choose your size based on your hip measurement: 88/94 (98/104) 109/114 (124/135) 145/155 cm / 34.5/37 (38.5/41) 43/45 (48.75/53) 57/61 inches.

You will need fingering yarn in 2 colours:

1. 800/850 (900/950) 1000/1050 (1100/1150) 1200/1275 meters / 875/930 (980/1030) 1100/1150 (1200/1250) 1300/1375 yards for main colour (MC),
2. 175/175 (190/190) 220/220 (250/250) 280/280 meters / 190/190 (210/210) 240/240 (275/275) 305/305 yards for contrasting colour (CC).
