This flattering gilet is made in chunky yarn and the fake fur effect is created within the knitting. Made in three pieces, shaped with darts so it has a tailored fit and and short row shaping creates the curved panel at hem. The two fronts are made differently and the right side has a placket so it is easy to join the them both together with press studs or a toggle if you prefer.
Mitzie Gilet is knitted in Purl Alpaca Chunky Yarn and photographed in the natural white colour (Ivory).
Knitted on 6mm and 7 mm needles
Tension: Loop St = 10 sts and 20 rows = 10 cm square using 7 mm needles: St St = 14 sts and 20 rows to 10cm square using 6 mm needles.
