The Metallic Twist HatThis hat utilizes a mixture of twisted stitches and garter to create an interesting textured fabric, with enough changes in stitch patterns to keep it fun but still relatively simple to work resulting in a finished hat which is just as enjoyable to wear. The matching Shawl is also available.Materials: Requires approx 144 metres / 157 yards of DK weight yarn. It uses small amounts of each colour or can be made in monotoneCircumference: Ribbing on smaller needles (4mm) 15”/ 41cm, 7.5” / 21cm, lying flat (as sample, which fits a 23” / 59cm head circumference)Length before crown decreases: 7” from cast on edge.Total length: 8.5” from cast on edge. You can add more ‘slouch’ if you wish to by working repeats of certain instructions
