This triangular shawl is worked mostly in basic Tunisian crochet. The special feature is colorful stripes with little “snakes” that happily bounce around. Working from one tip to the opposite edge, the stripes will be on the bias.
You can use any yarn for this shawl, from laceweight to bulky. Just make sure you use a hook that gives you a loose fabric. Make it as small or big as you want.
The sample has been made using 150g Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 285 Lace (50g = 285m) and Lana Grossa Lace Merino Degradé (50g = 400m) in grayscale and a 6,5mm (US K) hook. It measures 180cm (71 inch) at the wingspan and 75cm (29.5 inch) in length.
