I love the colours and atmosphere of souks and medinas in Morocco and Turkey, most of all I love the earthy natural colours of the textiles and carpets. This design is inspired by the shapes and colours of those carpets, a long cowl which you can wrap twice (or thrice) round for warmth, or once for cool. Originally designed for Willow Knits hand-dyed Silk Worsted, any dk/worsted weight yarn with a high silk content will work well - ideally 2 solid colours and 1 variegated.
