A reusable bag is always a beautiful thing and my Market Bag in cotton is definitely double beautiful. I love this simple knitted bag for quick trips to the grocery store, treks to the beach, and of course, visits to my favorite yarn shop!
This bag is knit from the bottom-up and is knit in the round in one piece (without seam). Strap is knit from one side and is attached with your preferred seaming method to the opposite side.
Stitches used in this pattern: knit, purl, M1R, yo, k2tog, Ssk
You'll need size 4mm double pointed needles, size 4mm circular knitting needles (4mm crochet hook-optional) and 3 skeins of 100% mercerized cotton 50g (1.75 oz) – 125m (137 yards).
