These socks were inspired by the film 'Love Actually'. They are guaranteed to bring a little love into your life. The simple colour work design looks good using either two plain, or a mix of plain and multi-colour yarn. It's also a great way to use up left-over sock yarn, for the heart and border pattern you will only need about 35g. You will need approx 100g of Main Colour.
The design has been written to fit 8" (20.5cm) and 8 1/2" (21.5cm) sizes of foot circumference - finished foot lengths are 24cm and 25cm respectively.
Gauge/Tension is 9 stitches per inch measured over Stocking Stitch using 2.5mm needles.
Sock pattern has both chart and written instructions - it is a fairly simple colour work design - however, a basic knowledge of colour work/ stranding/ weaving technique is recommended to be able to knit these socks.
It is an ideal project for knitters new to colour work to practice their skills and techniques.
