This is a very pretty top down cardigan/coat which is very easy to knit and suitable for someone new to knitting.
The lace pattern is easy to remember- just 4 rows and three of those rows are knit or purl.
There is a tiny bit of crochet included, but this is optional, and I have included some suggestions for the embellishment on the front. I am a novice at crochet so the crochet instructions are very simple to do.
The coat looks lovely without any embellishments and how you finish it off is entirely up to your imagination.
