This pattern is a written pattern with some photos to help you.
You will need to know how to do fpdc, as well as sc in the back loop only.
The completed blanket measures 25" x 24".
You will need a 4.5mm hook and about 12 ozs of light weight yarn. I used Loops and Threads Snuggly Wuggly. Please note that Ravelry has this particular yarn listed as a sport weight/dk weight yarn. The ball I used has it listed as a light weight (#3).
I do not recommend using buttons on blankets for infants and small children as they can come off and become a choking hazard. I would recommend embroidering the eyes on with scrap pieces of yarn.The sample made is for my own personal use.
