The Life’s Not A Race crochet blanket is easy, speedy, fluffy fun.
A simple stitch lets the colors do all of the talking. Perfect for quick gifts. The stitch pattern is all double crochet (US terms) in between the stitches. So easy!
This beginner level 1-day or weekend project is designed for self-striping dk weight yarn such as Lion Brand Mandala yarn.
Requires 4 cakes of Mandala yarn or 2,360 yards (2,160 meters) of any yarn. The yarn cakes do not have to match and this is a great pattern for unique cakes (mandalacorns). The blanket uses double crochet stitches in US terms and dk weight yarn held doubled. Experienced crocheters in a hurry can make it in 4 to 5 hours or less. No rush, though, life’s not a race!
