Let's Party Birthday Cake

Celebrate good times and that special day with this sugar-free cake, packed with bright details. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cake is knitted in acrylic DK yarns. The cakes and icing are knitted in the round on a circular needle using the magic loop method. The banner is knitted flat (back and forth) on the circular needle. The Yellow zigzag ribbon decoration is a single crochet chain worked on the crochet hook. The candles are i- cord tubes worked on the circular needle (or swap for two double pointed needles). For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
