What’s this: This is the Lea Hat. It was designed in collaboration with Julie Asselin Hand-dyed yarns.
Why should I make this: With or without a pompom, this unisex hat is perfect to keep warm while lookin’ good.
The fibers used to create Leizu are a joy to crochet. And at just one skein per hat, you’ll be making them for everyone around you in no time.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - You’ll need to be comfortable with crochet. You will need 115g of DK weight yarn (used here: Julie Asselin Leizu DK in colourway Maelström) & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: a pompom making tool or faux-fur pompom, a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
