Layers Sweater

The sweater is worked top-down in the round using the raglan technique. It begins with a short-row yoke to shape the back neck, worked together with raglan increases to form the body and sleeves. After the yoke is completed, the knitting continues in the round with raglan increases.

Once all increases are done, the sweater is separated into body and sleeves. The body is then worked in stockinette stitch in the round, while each sleeve is also worked in the round with decreases for a gentle taper towards the wrist. Both the body and sleeves are finished with a 2x2 rib.

After completing the body, a “lining” is worked in a contrasting color. The final step is the neckline: first a 2x2 rib in the main color, then the “lining” in the second color.
