Gauge: 21 sts in 4 in/10cm in 4 in/10cm in 4 in/10cm in stockinette stitch (row gauge is not important – measurements are given instead of row count).
You will need: DK yarn (up to 230 grams for the largest size, up to 100 grams for the smallest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (for knitting flat), a darning needle, and a stitch marker.
The hat is knit flat.
