Gauge: 19 sts in 4 in/10cm in 4 in/10cm in stockinette stitch (row gauge is not important – measurements are given instead of row count).
You will need: worsted yarn (up to 300 grams for the largest size, up to 110 grams for the smallest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (for knitting flat and for knitting in the round), a darning needle, a stitch marker.
The bonnet part is knit flat, the neck part is knit in the round.
