Hanukkah crochet patterns are hard to find so, every year, I try to design a new pattern or two for the holiday. This year, I’m quite pleased with my new Large Hanukkah Menorah crochet pattern. It has an interesting stitch pattern and is fun to make and see it take shape. It’s perfect as a wall hanging or decoration, a placemat or a table decoration. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Blue Suede (#3945) (40 yards), Light Periwinkle(#0347) (30 Yards) and Gold (#0321)(8 yards). Yardage is approximate. If you need to substitute yarn, any worsted weight yarn should work but I would avoid cotton yarn or very soft yarn (too floppy and doesn’t keep its shape well for something this large) and try to use an acrylic, wool, or blend. (Note: I think this would also look great in Blue Suede and White)
