This small shawl is knitted in an easy to memorize pattern of knit and purl stitches. The pattern looks on RS like waves, on WS like blocks, so that it looks good on both sides if draped around your neck.
The idea came up because due to a medical treatment I have to protect my neck against sunlight. This shawl has the perfect size to cover this area, and giving my outfit a little extra color pop. On cold spring mornings this shawl is also a good companion.
Starting with few stitches, increases will be worked until desired width has been reached. After knitting the straight part, decreases will form the second tip of this shawl. Created for sport/dk weight it can be knitted with any yarn except cotton ones.
