These cuff/mitts were inspired by the 8th episode “Both Sides Now” on Starz® original series Outlander where Jaime talks about taking Claire home as “Lady Lallybroch”.
This is a companion pattern to my first scarf design [Blood Vow](/patterns/library/blood-vow).
These cuff/mitts have the same patterning as the scarf, but in a lovely charcoal gray and knit in the round. They can be worn “both ways”. Wear as wrist cuffs with the pleats freely flowing over the fingers and the thumb hole buttoned up and worn on the underside of the wrist, or traditionally as fingerless mitts with the tiny buttons tucked underneath the knitted fabric and the thumb hole opened up for the thumb.
I hope you enjoy them – they are a fast knit and very flexible to sizing.
