This is a pattern for a Lace and Texture Picnic Blanket, originally published in Knitting magazine. It is made up of squares in two stitches, a simple lace stitch and a cob nut textured stitch. It is sewn up and a crochet edge finishes the blanket. The yarn has now been discontinued, any yarn knitting to the tension can be used or a different tension for a different size.
