Materials required: one pair size 2 mm knitting needles, size 10 or size 12 crochet thread - 50 g white (this will make two of each size jar covers or five large jar covers), plus oddments of colours as required for individual fruits.
Ability Level: Experienced
Approximate finished sizes:
Large: Frill measures 1¾-inch/4.5 cm deep, centre approx. 4-inches/10 cm diameter. Medium: Frill measures 1½-inch/4 cm deep, centre approx. 3¼-inches/8 cm diameter. Small: Frill measures 1¼-inch/ 3 cm deep, centre approx. 2½-inches/6.5 cm diameter. Fruits are approximately 1-inch/2.5 cm to 1½-inch/4 cm high and can be made to suit contents of jar.
Gauge is not given, as this is not important for this project.
