Listing is for PATTERN ONLY - NOT THE SCARF. American knitting terms. A medium size scarf in worsted weight yarn (I use Paten's Classic Wool Worsted). The pattern looks more difficult than it is, just a combination of knits and purls, appropriate even for a beginner. Unisex, especially nice for hard to buy from man. The scarf in the picture is medium size, about 5.5 x 40 inches for those who want a scarf that's not too bulky and easy to tuck into a coat but of course it can be made to almost any size.
