These gloves were inspired by Eastern henna body painting traditions.
In my research, I was fascinated by the traditions that cherished brides and helped give rest to new mothers.
Size: One size to fit up to 8.5" (21.5cm) around; 13" (33cm) long
Yarn: Color A: Knit Picks Palette [100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 231yd/50g]; Color: Cornmeal. 2 skeins. Color B: Knit Picks Palette; Color: Marsala. 1 skein.
Needles: US3 (3.25mm) straight needles
Extras: A stitch marker to divide panels and a tapestry needle
Gauge: 8 stitches = 1" (2.5cm) in stockinette stitch
