Kitzbuhel [ˈkɪtsbyːl] is a small alpine town in the middle of the Austrian Alps known for its skiing and mountain scenery. During Spring, when the snow is almost gone from the mountains and the sun sets, the snow glows in many colors against the dark forest and the lights from the town twinkle in the air. It’s truly a magical sight and it’s the inspiration behind the Kitzbuhel cardigan and its pullover counterpart.
