Crochet this casual hooded vest with wrapped cross front detail. A perfect wardrobe addition for in between cooler and warmer weathers. The vest is made up using a combination of single crochet and ch1 stitches, giving a woven texture which works up fast as you only need to work half the number of stitches!
Written in US terms with UK conversion chart included. Photographs have been used throughout to help with instructions. A printer friendly version is also included.
This pattern is worked using Worsted (UK Aran) size yarn (yarn weight #4) with a 6mm hook. I have used a 20% Alpaca, 30% Wool, 50% Acrylic mix. Any type of Acrylic, Wool or mixed yarn can be used.
You will need: Yarn weight #4 / Worsted (UK Aran) yarn - approx. between 450g-950g depending on size, 6mm crochet hook, 3 buttons - 25mm, Stitch marker.
