Juliette V Stitch Square

I've had quite a few goes at making the V Stitch work for me in the past, and only came back to the concept yesterday, when I made a simple big and colourful square with V Stich corners.  I love how the V shapes look all lined up diagonally in the corners.  So this morning I got out my brand new Aran cotton yarn in my very favourite colours, and set to work on this. My idea was to have a pretty centre, not a dense centre.  What I want to do with this design is make a table runner, so the pattern in the middle will stand out.
